I found these clocks near the dollar bins at Target for $2.50, and I knew that I could make something great out of them. I have been wanting to craft some more clocks but with clock kits alone being $7.00 it wasn't in my budget.

Disassemble the clock and remove any items the are attached to it.
I chiseled of the foot balls with a Philips screw and a hammer.
To take the clock kit out, pop of the hands (gently) and unscrew the middle of the kit.
Store parts in a baggie as they tend to get lost.
cut a piece of fabric that is big enough to cover the clock.
sew around the edge of the fabric on a loose stitch.
gather the fabric by pulling the threads, you will end up making a large Yo-Yo.
Insert the clock with the opening in the back and tightening the threads and knot them.
cut a hole out of the fabric using a utility or craft knife. I poke from the back to the front to ensure that I was putting the hole in the right spot.
Gather you embellishments.
I used buttons for the numbers and I had a circle scrap booking embellishment that I cut a hole out of for the middle of the clock.
Glue the embellishments to the face.
Insert the clock kit, tighten the bolt, attach the hands, find a battery, hang on the wall. TADA!!
