This tutorial is for how to make a fabric bow which can be used as an embellishment to adorn hair clips, bags purses or indeed any fabric project where a three dimensional element would be fitting. Enjoy :) I do hope you get the gist from the images. I dunno about you but a picture speaks a thousand words. Hope you like.

5" x 6" rectangle fabric scrap.
Fold & iron.
Fold.
Fold.
Sew & trim.
Top stitch around shape. Trim excess threads. Use complimentary or contrasting thread.
Fold and press to find centre.
Thread a needle.
Create a line in small running stitches up the centre line.
Gather. Sew trough final stitch twice before cutting the thread.
Create a second bow using the same method by beginning with a rectangle 4" x 5".
Lay one on top of the other. Tack with a few stitches.
Cut another piece of fabric. 1" x 2.5".
Fold in half and sew close to the edge.
Fold the seam to the back. Form a hoop around the centre of the bow with small piece of fabric and pin.
The result is a pretty bow to use as an embellishment or accessory. see more of my creations on my blog www.scrapsville.blogspot.com
