Very very simple but with all the advice i've learned about it, including how to prevent your eyeshadow from being ruined, how to apply, and that sort of thing! Sorry for the odd pictures, my camera isn't very good.

Before you do anything, choose the color from your eyeshadows that you want to use. [= This will not work with cream eyeshadows! For those, you only need to apply them with a brush, no water! For the brush, I use my The Body Shop slanted brush. It's super thin and is made for making precise lines. You can use a thin paintbrush or something but I'm pretty sure it won't work as well.
First, get a tap running with some warm water and get the brush wet. It doesn't have to be soaked! After that, squeeze the excess water out of the brush.
Gently tap the brush into the eyeshadow. I always keep it to the left side and just tap it in the same area until I've got enough pigment. This way you won't ruin your eyeshadow and it'll take less time to dry.
Apply. I always pat the brush onto my eye and then gently blend the line together, that gets the pigment on the best for me. When you do the other eye, repeat the water and squeeze step to keep it even on both eyes.
When you're done, wipe the eyeshadow off of the brush with the towel to keep it clean, and let the brush dry before you use it again. I usually just leave it on my dresser and then put it back in it's case when I get back from whatever. [= Enjoy!
