My favorite pair of solid turquoise Converse were all faded and beat up, so I decided to freshen them up a bit. I first wanted to paint them silver, but the silver paint/marker was too expensive, so i went with a giant green permanent marker I got for under a dollar instead. I just painted the canvas parts with the marker and added some designs on the sides. Most of the project is a blur to me anyways, because about halfway through the marker fumes kind of got to me. Remember to crack open a window :).
