Again is the end of the week and time for house cleaning. If you love wood furniture and have lots of at home, this time instead of reaching for that sticky solution in the spray bottle, make your own eco-friendly furniture polish with ingredients you presumably have in your pantry. It's similar to making a special salad dressing for your favorite wood furnishings. Moreover, this concoction will both clean and nourish your tables and chairs, and besides doesn't have any waxy ingredients in it.

Mix the ingredients, but first measure them. Use a small plastic squeeze bottle for a container, or just pick up one from your local craft store.
Add the olive oil and vinegar to the container. Stir well. Olive oil will nourish the wood furniture, while vinegar will clean and refresh them.
Cut a lemon in half, and squeeze half of the lemon into the mixture. Lemon juice will gently remove the stains from wood and will help moisturize.
Shake it well and then apply a small amount to a soft cloth and lightly polish the wood. Lastly, let it air dry or wipe it off with a clean rag. Store the homemade furniture polish in a cold area, or your refrigerator to keep it fresh for future use.
