Inspired by our gorgeous rainbow bouquet, I decided to give this vase a crafty button makeover with etching spray. It's fast, simple and looks as cute as can be!
Inspired by our gorgeous rainbow bouquet, I decided to give this vase a crafty button makeover with etching spray. It's fast, simple and looks as cute as can be!
Start off with a glass vase and give it a nice clean before you start.
Cut circles of sticker paper in various sizes.
Use a hole punch to punch two holes out of the middle of the smaller circles and four holes out of the larger circles.
Stick the stickers around the vase in a nice design.
Protect your surface with some paper and place the vase in the middle.
Spray with a couple of generous coats of etching spray and leave to dry.
When dry, carefully peel of the stickers to reveal your button design.
You can neaten up any areas that aren't crisp by scraping away the etching spray with tweezers or the tip of a cutting knife.
