ok to start with i put my shirt on my swanky duct tape dress form which you can youtube n see how to make i <3 mine. or you can just try it on. now i cut as little off the top as possible since i was trying to make this bigger. so i started just above the decal on this shirt and cut strait across. oh look i remembered to take pictures!
ok then i cut the sleeves off like always. then i took the shirt off the dress form and cut the back to match the front.
then i cut a strip of fabric out that is the circumfrance around my shoulders where i wanted this straps to lay plus about 2 in. since i wanted to put this little heart in i added extra so i could fold it over the heart. i got these little things from walmart. there really key rings lol.
anyway then i hemmed the square all teh way around just folding in about 1/4 in on each side. then i folded the ever end in half then in half again and put it threw my heart then sewed it down. sew it down good because this is where all your tension is going to be when you wear it. sorry forgot to take a picture of this. then i did it on the other side of the heart with the other end. i did the loop first so that i can get it on my shirt even. you can sew the tube to the shirt first if your not doing this part or if you just feel like it.
then i folded my square in half to make a sort of bias tape and pinned it to the top of my shirt and sewed all the way around.
and if you want you can sew up the sleeve hole you dont have to but mine looked ragged so i did.
