First of all, you will need to remove any grease marks from the keyring with a clean cloth or tissue. The use a fine water soluble pen to draw a simple motif or initial in the centre of the heart.
Set the Dremel Engraver on speed 1. Lightweight and easy to handle, hold the engraver at a slight angle as if you’re drawing with a pencil. There’s no need to apply pressure, just rest the tip of the engraver gently in position and move it along the penned line at a steady and even pace. Remove any remaining pen marks with a soft cloth or tissue.
Continue engraving as previously and go round the original engraving until you’ve achieved the required effect.
You have now created the perfect gift and by adding your own little personal touch, your mum is sure to feel loved this Mother’s Day.
