My son decided on an emoji themed birthday party this month (he turned 13!)). I had a hard time finding emoji decorations in such short time (he decided this 2 weeks BEFORE his birthday), I had to get creative. Plus, the only emoji stuff I found was graduation at the party store. I got the cups and emoji plates from Hel.. *erm* Wal-Mart. Super fun and ridiculously easy. You can get the kids to help by having them color the images in. You can draw the faces on or do it the *easy* way and print up the faces on sticker paper, cut them out, and stick on the cups.

Buy plain yellow paper cups. You can get them at the Dollar store or where ever you can find them for cheap.
Grab some permanent markers and a pencil. I did a quick search online on the list of emoji faces (or stare at your phone in message/text mode). My son picked the ones he wanted. Get the kids to help too.
Let them dry and VOILA! Fun cups on the cheap.
