I'd been on the hunt for a great way to organize my embroidery threads for ages when We R Memory Keepers sent me their Photo Fuse tool and some photo sleeves to test out. It was so easy to fuse and cut the sleeves, making pockets to the perfect size for my supplies. I'm tempted to organize my whole craft space with them!

Wind each colour of embroidery thread onto it's own holder.
Punch a hole in the bottom of the holder and slip the end of the thread through.
Start by making your thread holders from white card. If you've got a cutting machine, you can cut these out with my template, or you can make your own by hand.
Lay a photo sleeve or page protector down on your cutting mat and heat up the fuse tool.
Lay the embroidery thread on top of the photo sleeve in a neat line, making sure that they're nice and evenly spaced. Make a mark along the top and bottom lines of the threads.
Place a sheet of card inside the photo sleeve and use the cutting tip to cut along the top line.
Change to the fusing tip and fuse along the bottom line.
Remove the card and place your first embroidery thread into the photo sleeve and fuse the edge, creating a small pocket fit perfectly to the thread.
Continue along the row, creating a pocket for each thread.
Once you've added a full row, continue the steps to make more rows of pockets.
If you want to make your pocket organizer longer or taller, simply fuse another photo sleeve to the side or bottom of your first.
Hang on the wall and get organized!
