You Will Need (2 things)

  • Yarn
  • Knitting Needles

Steps (5 steps, 180 minutes)

  1. 1

You'll need 4 brightly colored, feltable yarns. I used 1 skein each of Brown Sheep Company, Lambs Pride Bulky in Pink(color A), Orange(color D), and Limeade(Color C). Then 2 skeins of Lemon Drop(Color B).
    US size 13 needles.
    Tapestry Needle
Any washable filling to stuff the pillow with.

  2. 2

    Sides (Make one in colors A, B, C, D)
    CO 50 sts.
    Work Garter stitch for 8"
    BO

  3. 3

Ends (make one each in colors B and C)
    CO 25 sts
Work in garter stitch for 8"
    BO

  4. 4

Using color D, whipstitch all sides together in any color combination you like. You want the seams to SHOW!
Sew ends onto body of pillow, leaving about a 4" opening on one piece. Stuff the heck out of pillow, then sew it shut.

  5. 5

Felt away! Throw it in the wash, take it into a hot bath, whatever your want to do to felt this sucker!

It can be a little fuzzy, so be ready with a sweater shaver to clean it up a bit.
