Elephant Diaper Cake

This is a diaper cake I made while back for a friend's baby shower. Her theme was elephants. The bottom layer is made completely out of diapers. The middle and top layers have wash cloths, bibs, and baby socks in between the rolled diapers. I topped the "cake" with an elephant that goes in the microwave to become a heating pad. I wrapped each layer with ribbon that I secured with glue dots.

This is really easy to make and can incorporate a lot of little gifts. I would recommend not buying the newborn sized diapers because babies grow out of that size really quickly! Another idea is to buy two sizes instead.
