a fun, easy, creative bookcover!
I remember the first time I learned to make these, I was about seven, I'm finally bringing it back and rocking it!

    Gather your goods.

    To start, lay your book down and make sure the paper you're using is large enough.

    Fold down the bottom and top edges for a clean line, make sure that this is tailored to the size of your book. Scotch tape in place.

    Using your packing tape, tape along the outer edges as to prevent rips in the future. Cut off excess tape if you so please.

    Tape along the bottom and top edges you taped in place in step 3.

    Placing your book about in the center, take up one edge and put it in under the front cover, leaving about the same amount out for the back cover.

    Tape the edge as to create a pocket to hold the cover in with out taping the book's front cover to the paper.

    Repeat step 6 and this step with the back cover making sure that you can close both covers with out trouble if your book has a larger spine.

    You're done!

    Also, depending on the paper you're using, such as if you're using a plain brown or white paper bag, you could draw or doodle on the front of the bookcover to make it unique!

    To increase the time your cover would last, if you have the resources to, you could laminate it and then go through all the steps.

The best solution for giant textbooks... Not the one I give my parents, I make them buy the more expensive, bigger book covers.
