This is in progress and will upload some photos later, i've been working on this sock pattern for a while trying to make it as easy as i could as my knitting isn't very good i still wanted to be able to produce something that wasn't a scarf etc. I'll be adding more and more info as i go. First, i'm using self striping wool so i don't have to worry about pattern. Stitches used: Knit Make 1 Knit 2 together Cast off (USA: Bind off) Cast on (turkish) Needles 2 cable needles 3.5mm size Wool: ordinary double knitting I'll try and add photos or a little video as well to show the different techniques you need as you get to each stage.

The cast on: a Turkish sock cast on And increasing stitches to get the sock width
Knitting!!! and only knitting up to where you start the heel.
Short row heels: Decrease Increase
back to both needles and knitting again up to the ankle
The Russian Cast off (USA bind off)
