This is another super easy project. I don't think anyone needs a tutorial for that, but just in case... As usual, start with gathering your supplies: pliers,paper clip, a key chain-thingy and a button of your choice in my little world this step is usually reversed: first you get "the supplies" and then think what to do with them =)
unfold the paper clip [you don't need pliers for that =)]
Slide a button on it
Twist and turn whichever way your little heart desires. You will need pliers for that =) And fix it on the chain. All done =) Tip: never forget to cover your "twisted" bits with a cloth to avoid making unsightly dents with pliers...because even if you're making a free project, it should look good with a smooth finish, otherwise why bother making it at all?
