This was my first attempt at real home made bread. It was quit easy to make. Not too much hassle. I would suggest that you put the dough into a tin as the loaf I made didn't have much height but it did have nice crumb & tasted great.
This was my first attempt at real home made bread. It was quit easy to make. Not too much hassle. I would suggest that you put the dough into a tin as the loaf I made didn't have much height but it did have nice crumb & tasted great.
Mix 3/4 cup flour, yeast, salt & sugar together.
In a pot heat milk, water & butter until reaches 120 degrees.
Add wet to dry ingredients. Mix on medium speed for 2 mins.
Scrape down the bowl, add 1/4 cup more of flour. Mix on high speed for 2 mins.
Add more flour to the mix to make a dry dough.
Oil a bowl & place the dough into it & cover with cling film & leave to rise for approx 30 mins.
Kneed the dough by hand for approx 1 min. Form into a shape or place into a tin.
Leave to rise again for at least 1 hr.
Pre heat the oven 190. Cook for approx 20 mins or until cooked through.
Remove from the oven & allow to cool befor cutting.
