Love the look of dip dye? It's easy to learn, especially if you use a solution of acrylic paint and water. Dye some vintage mini-doilies to create new craft materials - once dyed, they can be used for garlands (wedding decor, anyone?), mobiles, coasters, or appliques!

Squirt about a 2" blob of paint in your container or bowl.
Pour in about 1/2 to 3/4 cup of water and mix well (you want super watery, but still very saturated with color).
Dip your doilies!
Tip: Dip your doilies LESS than halfway in the mixture - the 'dye' will soak up farther than you anticipate, so if you only want half your doily dyed, undercompensate for how much you dip.
Lay 'em out and let 'em dry!
