Easy Deliciously Healthy Homemade Bread

My mom and dad have always been avid bakers and chefs so it's just natural that I would follow in their footsteps. This bread was invented by my mother, but I made it my own. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do, it's seriously easy and very delicious.

You Will Need (1 thing)

  • 2 Whole Wheat Bread

Steps (10 steps, 60 minutes)

    Step 1: Heat 1 1/4 cup of water on stove until Temp. reaches 115 degrees F. (It should be warm enough that you can stick your finger in, but hot enough that you have to pull it back out quickly)

    Dissolve 1/4 cup of sugar in Water, stir until fully dissolved.

    Mix 3/4 cup water with 4 Tbl. of flax. Let sit until needed.

    Pour the water and sugar in mixer over 3 Tbls.yeast wait until bubbly (3-6 mins)(mixer should be on low, with dough hook attachment)

    Add 2 Tsp. salt and 1/3 cup of extra virgin olive oil to yeast blend.

    Add flax mixture to mixer.

    Add six cups of whole wheat flour slowly to mixer. After all is add increase speed on mixer to medium and wait till the dough forms a ball.

    Cut dough in half, knead then shape into to bread loaf pan size logs.

    Let sit on counter in greased bread pans for 20 mins or until doubled in size.

    Bake for 30 mins or until golden brown on top. See? Easy.
