AFTER MAKING THE 136 CHAIN ...THEN I CHAIN 8 MORE ...IM SURE THAT THE 8 IS THE FIRST D-T-C...
WERE IM STUMPED IS...... DOSE EVERY 136 CHAINS CONTAIN A D-T-C STITCH....FROM THE PICTURE IT LOOKS LIKE IT ....ON THE #1 I DONT UNDERSTAND

Chaining 8 will create the turn around and corner for the 2nd row. Every row is D-T-C, that's what creates the wide netting pattern. At the end of the 2nd row - you will be D-T-C in the chain stitches you did at the end of the 1st row, I will try to draw this out and post - maybe it will be clearer that way. I'm sorry to be so confusing. Hope this helps. I will get to the image shortly.

THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH....NOW THAT I UNDERSTOOD...I JUST COULD NOT PUT TOGETHER... CH 8 MORE I GOT THAT WHAT I DID NOT GET WAS TRIPLE CROCHET IN THE 136th CHAIN....I SO WANTED TO DO THIS ...ITS BEAUTIFUL....GLAD YOU REPLYED SO QUICKLY....BIG HUGS

this can be made in 2 panels or 1 continuous piece
2 panel instruction first....I understand all of that ....except chain 136 across ....ok....chain 8 more double -triple crochet
in the 136th chain...chain 3double triple in the 4th...
continue until the end of chain...1st row...after the word ok I don't understand the rest....please help

I haven't looked at this in quite some time. 136 chains to make the starter row - chain 8 more for the turn around to begin the next row. When you complete each row you would do them same. Does that help? Please let me know. Also - glad you like it. It's pretty quick to make.
