i love corn dogs and i always make them the old fashioned way, but it takes too long, its messy and they get greasy. i didn't know what too cook for breakfast and my niece said she wanted cup cakes and my brother said he wanted corn dogs. i thought to my self "why not mix them and make my brother and my niece happy". so i did. they came out great and delicious. i wanted to share this fun and easy way to have a nice breakfast, lunch, dinner or snack. i hope you try it and enjoy it!!

this is what you will need: 1 pkg. corn muffin mix 1 egg 1/3 cup of milk 4 hot dogs (i just noticed i didn't place them with the rest of the ingredients lol I'm sorry) I DID DOUBLE THIS RECIPE. THESE ARE THE INGREDIENTS FOR 6-8 MUFFINS. YOU CAN DOUBLE IT AS I DID.
preheat oven to 400(°F) spray non stick spray on pans or use paper baking cups.
blend ingredients. batter will be slightly lumpy. rest them for 4 to 5 minutes before filling cups.
while the muffin mix is resting, cut 2-4 hot dogs (depending on how many muffins you are making) in three pieces each.
when the 5 minutes are up fill the cups 1/2 full.
then place 1 hot dog piece in the middle of each of them like so.
they don't have perfectly placed. they are all going to end up in the same place. ;)
bake for 15-20 min until golden brown!!
let them cool for at least 5-10 minutes and eat with any dip of your choice. i chose mustard and ketchup. they were great!!! i hope you try them!!
