A super easy way to make some cute concrete pumpkins. No molds required! These take around 20 minutes to make for a 6" pumpkin (drying time not included) If you plan on making big pumpkins and are worried they might be too heavy I also show you how to turn regular concrete into hyperfyfa (meaning: lightweight concrete)

You Will Need (10 things)

  • Rope
  • Glue
  • Moss
  • Rubberband
  • perlite
  • Peat Moss
  • Water
  • Nylon Tights
  • Concrete
  • Hot Glue

Steps (8 steps, 20 minutes)

  1. 1

To begin you'll need to mix your concrete in a bucket. You can do this by hand or use a drill bit with a mixing tip.

  2. 2

Here's what the concrete mixture should look like.

  3. 3

Following that tie some tights at the bottom and cut them off at about 12" in length.

  4. 4

Next stuff your tights with concrete and tie off sections to create the pumpkin shape. You cane use string or rubber bands to do this.

  5. 5

Let your pumpkins set overnight and remove the tights and rubber bands.

  6. 6

Next use some hot glue to attach a piece of rope for the stem and thin it out with some scissors to create a tapered look.

  7. 7

For the last step apply some glue and sprinkle the pumpkin with very fine moss to give it a natural look and that's it.

  8. 8

Here's how they look in the garden.
