With so many different wrapping papers around it's easy to find decorative uses for them. I had a snowflake wrapping paper from the dollar store I quite liked and decided to use a little of it to decorate a card. This is so easy to use with any style of paper, just figure out where you want the image to focus. The paper I used had the snowflakes spaced out enough that I could get one focused near the top of the card leaving a more open space for writing.

First step is to decide where you want the paper to sit on your card. Just glue it down and trim whatever excess there is.
To soften the look of the paper I glued on some tracing paper I had.
I was thinking of different christmas songs as I made the card, and ended up writing on the cover "Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow"
For an added touch to the card, I used some glitter paint I had around the edges, just brushing it inwards to give more of an icy look. For this card I think the glitter completed it.
Finally all you need is to figure out what to write inside your card. Mine was blank, but you can easily use a card you have already. With gluing paper onto the front it doesn't matter what the design is so you have a lot of choices with what you do. Inside I wrote "Wishing you all the warmth of the holiday season as the beauty of winter spreads all around"
