Easy card for any holiday or occasion

About

With so many different wrapping papers around it's easy to find decorative uses for them. I had a snowflake wrapping paper from the dollar store I quite liked and decided to use a little of it to decorate a card.

This is so easy to use with any style of paper, just figure out where you want the image to focus. The paper I used had the snowflakes spaced out enough that I could get one focused near the top of the card leaving a more open space for writing.

You Will Need (5 things)

  • Wrapping Paper
  • Glue
  • Card
  • Glitter Paint
  • Tracing Paper

Steps (5 steps, 5 minutes)

  1. 1

First step is to decide where you want the paper to sit on your card. Just glue it down and trim whatever excess there is.

  2. 2

To soften the look of the paper I glued on some tracing paper I had.

  3. 3

I was thinking of different christmas songs as I made the card, and ended up writing on the cover "Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow"

  4. 4

For an added touch to the card, I used some glitter paint I had around the edges, just brushing it inwards to give more of an icy look. For this card I think the glitter completed it.

Finally all you need is to figure out what to write inside your card.

Mine was blank, but you can easily use a card you have already. With gluing paper onto the front it doesn't matter what the design is so you have a lot of choices with what you do.

Inside I wrote "Wishing you all the warmth of the holiday season as the beauty of winter spreads all around"
