So, this is a little project i stumbled upon when i was thinking about what to do with the lenses from some old glasses that i bought a long time ago for the frames. I made two brooches with the mighty Fegan Floop (from Spy Kids) and one with Hello Kitty. I got the glasses from a reuse store.

Check your lense. You will need a plain surface to stick your image and broochneedle on, so it won't work with a lense like the pink on the left side of the image. (Hurray for photoshop! Haha.)
This is an image of what you will need. (floopalicious picture) The yellow paper has glue on both sides when you peel of the the layers. If you do not have that, you can use a regular (strong and clear) hobby glue though.
Take your picture (In my case, a print of Floop), draw around your glasslense, and cut it out so it fits pretty precisely to the lense.
If your not using gluepaper, skip this step and the next one. Do the same thing here - draw and cut. Then, take of one of the layers of paper and stick the side with glue on to the flat side of your lense. (The good thing about using glue paper is that you don't get glue anywhere but where it is suppose to go)
Make sure to get most of the airbubbles out before taking of the other layer of paper. You do this by pressing your nail against the paper and rub it - image on the left. (I'm so lazy in Photoshop.) When you are satisfied, take the paper of. That leaves the seethrough glue on the glass - image on the right.
Glue your picture on! Trim the edges if it dosn't fit completely.
Almost done. It's time to glue the pin on. This is one from a pack i got at a Thriftstore. Glue the edges too if you want it extra strong. (You could also use clear nailpolish) And you are done! Optionally, you can add some other decorations to it. (lace, glitter, rhinestones, you know it!)
Floop, Floop, kitty. It's time to wear your newborn jewels! Enjoy.
