This is an easy 12-day Advent Calendar I made for my boyfriend Tom. Sorry about the surroundings. I was mad rushing to get this finished before he walked in the room. Anyways, after deliberating for awhile over making a calendar, or finding a red cake stand to stylishly stack presents on, I ran out of time. I ended up just setting the presents out on a table, and finished it off by adding some sparkley fillers/decorations like glittered bead garland, metalic confetti, little disco balls, and shredding old shiny wrapping paper to use as like, fluff. I bought 12 presents instead of the traditional 24 for a few reasons; My boyfriend is 26 and he wouldn't benefit from dinky cars and candy. Also, it was challenging for me to think of even 12 appropriately-sized gifts for an advent calendar, let alone Christmas gifts and stocking stuffers as well. Not to mention, I have to do this all again next year. Oh man... So whatever. 12 presents fit nicely. Long story not so short: wrap gifts coordinatingly, clean and prepare a surface that you wont mind not using for at least 12 days, pile gifts up nicely, place accents on and around your gifts. Enjoy the look of wild present gluttony on the receivers face. My boyfriend didn't mind that it was a bit girly and covered in glitter. He just thought it was festive. Present ideas! Some things in Toms' calendar: 5pk burnable CD's, Toblerone, scratch card, $10 to Harveys, Body Shop Hemp lip balm and hand lotion, $5 to Timmies, mickey of Canadian Club, zig zag's, lush shampoo bar, American Eagle boxer brief, dollarstore christmas socks, fishing hooks, crappy toy air plane. Some things in his stocking: Arizona iced tea, shower puff, Caramilk bar, mickey of Crown royal, an individual Mach3 razor, giant hot rod stick
