Here’s a real quick lesson in etiquette folks: always bring a gift. I feel like so many people forget this simple task, but if you are not bringing a dish to dinner then you need to bring a gift. It does not need to be extravagant, but if you aren't proving to the event then you should be providing to the person hosting the event. Think flowers, wine or small edibles such as chocolates and fine cheeses. Literally all I did was make some homemade peanut butter cups and put them into a jar that I decorated, but the gesture made all the difference. I love the beautiful spring time look of this gift. I wrapped the lid in a brightly colored washi tape, then tied a bow with some pink ribbon and stuck the twig of a silk flower through the bow.
