About

As an eyeliner addict, I had to resist giving myself an cat eye flick on this look and I'm glad I did as I love the powdery dark outline of the final look.

Steps (8 steps, 14 minutes)

  1. 1

Start by covering your eyelids with purple eyeshadow, you want to take the eyeshadow halfway up towards your brow and then down under the eye. For a more dramatic colour, dip your brush in water before applying the eyeshadow.

  2. 2

Using the dark purple eyeshadow, dip your brush in water and create a dramatic dark cut crease along the crease of your eyes.

  3. 3

Blend the dark purple eyeshadow outwards in to the lighter colour, working under the eye too. You want your eye makeup to be very dark in the middle and get lighter as you work your way outwards.

  4. 4

Using the glittery black eyeshadow, dip you brush in water and create a dark outline around your eye.

  5. 5

Blend the black eyeshadow in to the dark purple.

  6. 6

Finish off the look with a line of glittery black eyeliner along the top of your eyes and several strokes of black mascara to your top and bottom lashes.

  7. 7

Paint your lips with dark coral lipstick.

  8. 8

Complete the look by subtly darkening in your eyebrows with a soft stroke of black eye pencil and smudging it in and applying some dark pink blusher to your cheeks.
