I love bows and I wanted a new way to have a new bow anytime I wanted one and there easy to make. =)
~First choose a duck tape color that you love. ~Tear a 15 inch piece off (it doesnt have to be exactly 15 just around there)
~Now take that piece and fold it in half. ~Be sure to leave about a 1/2 inch showing, you will use this in a sec. !BE SURE ITS EVENLY LINED UP OR YOU WILL HAVE TO CUT AND MAKE IT EVEN!
~Now take and make the peice of tape into a circle. Use the 1/2 inch of tape sticking out to attach one end to the other. ~Now you have a circle (the bottom picture)
~Take the circle and flatten it, at this point it doesnt matter where the "seam" is I just usually have mine in the back (OCD)
~Find the center of your flattened piece of tape and pinch it. (this will take time to get it just right, I promise it takes me a couple times to get it)
~Take your ribbon and tie it around the center with the knot in the back of the bow (duh) ~Cut off the extra leaving about 2cm just so the knot doesnt come undone randomly.
~Take your bobby pin or hairclip of choice (I would probably recomend using a hair roller clip or huge bobby pin) and slide it under the ribbon and pull the bobby pin all the way through till the ribbon is at the end of your clip/pin. Side Note: If you want you can hot glue the center ribbon in place on the pin or clip so you dont have to worry about the pin/clip comming off; in my experiences they havnt (yet)
~Now your finished. You can decorate em or really do whatever you want with them. I have a tendency to use them on presents and customizzze them for gifts too.
