You Will Need (2 things)
- Fusible Interfacing : 35 ½ in x 8 in (90 cm x 20 cm)
- 108 cm (42 ½ in) Liberty-print Cotton : 2 yd 15 in (2.2 m)
Steps (11 steps, 120 minutes)

Neaten pocket edges, double fold top edge then topstitch.

Fold in edges as shown and press. Stitch to front dress piece as marked on pattern.

Sew bust darts. Press darts upwards.

Fold and stitch tucks on wrong side of dress front. Press tucks open.

Sew two rows of basting across the top of skirt back. Gather so notches match those on bodice. Sew skirt to bodice then remove basting. Topstitch on bodice edge close to seam.

Neaten all shoulder edges. Sew shoulder seams and press open.

Apply interfacing to neck facing pieces. Sew facing to neckline, and clip curves. Neaten lower edge of facing. Turn facing to inside then topstitch around neckline.
Neaten all side edges of front and back pieces. Sew side seams and press open. -

Double fold dress hem, then topstitch.

Neaten all underarm edges. Sew underarm seams. Press open.

Double fold sleeve hems, then topstitch.

Sew sleeves to dress, matching notches and underarm seams.
