So I can honestly say that I don’t put much stock in dream catchers as a whole, but I feel like they have a beautiful boho aesthetic to them and I love the way they look as fashion accessories. Originally I had planned to make this as a necklace, but then decided against it as I didn’t have a long enough chain, but I can hang it off the edge of my bed to keep the bad dreams away!

Your ingredients.
Wrap your ring all the way around with one color of embroidery floss. Cement with a small dab of glue.
Then with your next color of embroidery floss you just sort of weave a net; making a circular pattern by continually passing over the loop you’ve just made with your floss. Tie off your second color tightly to ensure that your web doesn’t become lax. Secure with a small dab of glue.
Then all you have to do is add your string and any embellishments that you want. I used some beads that I had lying around from another project knotted onto some embroidery floss to make it look like a proper dream catcher.
Then just hang it wherever you want or wear it as a necklace. I initially thought I would do this project in very muted earthy tones, but now that I’ve done it I’m really glad I chose the vibrant funky colors that I did.
