I made a few miniature versions of these pouches and put a bracelet in each, and gave them to my friends as an *early* Christmas gift. They are fairly easy to make, and don't take much time. I only ever hand-sew, but I'm sure you could use a sewing machine to make these, if you so choose. That would probably cut the time down to half, or even less :) **This is my first how-to, sorry if it's difficult to understand.

That would probably cut the time down to half, or even less :) **This is my first how-to, sorry if it's difficult to understand.
Cut out two pieces of material (you can use square or rectangular pieces, as long as they are the same shape, and the size doesn't really matter, but again the pieces must be the same).
Put the two pieces of material together, one on top of the other, with the colored sideof the material on the inside.
Next, pin the sides so that the material doesn't slip while you are sewing (This step is optional, depending on your skill level and what kind of material you are using.)
Start sewing using a whipstitch, but leave some space in between the top and the first stitch, as you will be folding this part down later in order to add the drawstring part. I started my sewing about an inch from the top because I was using a fairly wide piece of ribbon, but it depends on what you are using as the drawstring.
Fold the edges of the top down, and pin it.
Using a running stitch, sew across the bottom of the fold. Make sure to only sew through the fold and the layer underneath it, not through the entire thing (doing this will close up the pouch). Do this for both sides, so that there is a channel through which you can run the drawstring through.
Cut the piece of ribbon/thread in half, and run the first half of the ribbon/thread through one of the channels on the pouch. (The length of the ribbon/thread should be relative to the width of the pouch. As an example, if the width of the pouch is 7 inches, you should probably use a ribbon/thread that is 16 or 17 inches, so that when you cut it in half it is a little bit longer than the width of the pouch. This leaves room for you to tie the ends of the thread together later on.) Then do the same with the other piece of ribbon/thread and the other channel. Tie the ends of the ribbon/thread together.
Finally, turn the pouch right-side out. After this, you can just use it as it is, or you could decorate it and make it your own :)
