This wig is easy & cheap to make, but it is very time consuming. Covering the wig netting takes time and lots of patience. So be prepared to put the time in as the end result is worth it.

The wig & wool I used were from the pound/dollar shop. This kept the price very low on this project.

You Will Need (3 things)

  • 7 x Black Wool
  • 1 x Wig
  • 1 x Fabric Stiffener

Steps (6 steps, 1800 minutes)

  1. 1

    Buy a cheap wig from the pound shop.

    Cut off any hair that is on the wig.

    You will only need the netting cap.

    Thread wool through the netting and tie to secure.

    Cover the whole of the outside/outer edge netting in different lengths of wool to resemble Goku's hair.

    Leave the inside crown of the netting bare for now.

    For the crown/centre of the wig, feed the wool through the holes in the netting to create a smooth, flat hair style.

    When your wig is completely covered with hair/wool strands, separate into appropriate sections to resemble spikes in Goku's hair.

  5. 5

    Using starch, spike the hair sections up and leave to completely dry.

  6. 6

    Place on your head and become a Dragon Ball legend.
