I made this outfit for my daughter who is a big Dragon Ball Z fan. It is quite easy to make and is much cheaper than buying one. You will need the obvious items like a sewing machine, matching thread, etc but nothing too complicated.

I used 3 meters of orange and 1 meter of blue fabric for this project. I did have excess material but better to have too much than not enough. I used an pair of pj's to cut out the basic shape of the outfit.
Pin and sew the fabric together in the usual way. I used Velcro to fasten the back of the top closed. The trouser waist is elasticated so no need to add zip's or buttons.
For the badge I cut a round piece of white fabric and drew the Goku emblem on to it. I zig zag stitched over the markings and around the edge. I then stitched it to the chest of the top. (Its not fantastic quality but does the job.)
To make the belt I cut the length of the blue material and stitched together. Simple as that.
To make the boots I used an old pair of fabric, costume boots to get the basic shape. In order to make the boots stronger and able to hold there own shape I lined them with craft foam. I used Velcro to secure them at the back and elastic to secure them at the sole.
Perfect Goku Costume.
