You Will Need (4 things)

  • Fiber Fill
  • 4 Double Pointed Knitting Needles
  • scraps from finished projects Worsted Weight Yarn
  • Yarn Needle

Steps (7 steps, 120 minutes)

  1. 1

With needles cast on 30 sts. Work knitting in the round for 25 to 30 rows (or desired head length.) Decrease to 20 sts.(knit 2 togeather evenly spaced around).

  2. 2

Keep knitting in the round until piece measures the length of window or door opening. ( changing yarn colors as needed or wanted).

  3. 3

Knit two togeather around until there are 5 sts (or so you dont need to be percise here). cut yarn leaving a 10 inch tail, with yarn needle weave end through stitches removing them from knitting needle. Cinch up closing end. weave tail through a few times and tie off on inside. From open end fill.

  4. 4

Do your filling in sections. Taking a hand full of fiber fill at a time.

  5. 5

When starting the filling you may need a chop stick to push filling to end.

  6. 6

After filled take yarn and needle and weave through end to cinch and close. Make eyes nose and mouth using yarn. ( wanted to put on wiggle eyes but had no glue). Make them with their own personality !!!

  7. 7

Put them in window, or across bottom of door to keep heat out in summer and in in winter. :)
