For a while I've been wanting to make mitts that were in this one stitch a friend had shown me. It's almost like having 2 layers of knit but in one row. So I figured that it would be great to have a pair of mitts made out of the stitch. Super warm hands, eh?

Here's the stitch: Cast on multiples of 2, but twice as many stitches as intended as this tends to shrink. I would start the first row in just a straight knit stitch, just to keep it together, then the second row: With yarn in back, K1 Bring yarn forward, and Slip stitch purlwise, Bring Yarn behind and K1 Repeat until the end of the row for all rows. And then to join the seams I used a 3 needles bind off. Nice and toasty.
