You can use any beads you want but I find that cube shapes work best. The wood ones give a cool beachy flair. This is the perfect bracelet to start off the summer.

You'll want to cut the braiding cord to about three times the size of your wrist. I found this cord at walmart for about $3.
Make sure the two cords are even and wrap the wire (you will need about 2 times your wrist in length) around them a couple times. I used 24 gauge wire. It's small enough to fit through small holes and easy to work with your hands.
loop the wire over the cord twice, add a bead and then loop around the other cord twice. repeat the pattern all the way through.
