I needed a way to decorate my dorm room and wanted to hang up some pictures of home. However, frames are too heavy and tape doesn't look very good, so I devised this.

MEASURE HANGING SPACE. Using a measuring tape or just the twine itself, measure out the length that you want your hanging to be. add 2 inches to each side and cut
MEASURING WIDTH. Just as before, determine how long you want it to hang down; double that length and cut about 10. You may need more or less depending on how long your twine was from step 1.
BEGIN ADDING WIDTH STRIPS. find the center of your lengthwise twine from step 1 and add one widthwise twine from step 2 by doing a larks head knot. image: http://friendship-bracelets.net/im/tut/uploaded/1097/1.jpg
CONTINUE ADDING WIDTHWISE PIECES. From the center piece, continuing adding widthwise pieces to the left and the right by tying larkshead knots, spacing them about a handwidth apart, stopping two inches form each end of the lengthwise sting.
