These are nice to keep out a cold draft if you have drafty doors like I do!

My grandma had one of these we called Sammy when I was a little girl. I used to love to wear it around my neck. Fittingly, I'm calling mine Sammie 2.0s

You Will Need (5 things)

  • 36 in Cotton
  • 4 bags Beans
  • Beans
  • 1 sqaure Felt
  • Thread

Steps (7 steps, 40 minutes)

  1. 1

Fold your fabric in half long ways.

  2. 2

Cut it as long as your doorway is wide.

  3. 3

Cut out ears from felt. If you want you can stitch around the edges to make it look nice, but you don't have to.

  4. 4

Stitch ears on the right side of the fabric to end that will be the head.

  5. 5

Sew down the long side of the fabric, and curve down towards the end to make the shape of the dog's head.

    Trim around the curved end.

  6. 6

    Flip right side out.

    Fill with dried beans.

  7. 7

    Stitch end closed.
