I have made this for my dad who has been a fan of Doctor Who since it was created in the 1960s when he was a little boy and he still is. You can never have enough coasters it seems in our house, they seem to move from room to room, fall under furniture or just disappear. But I love to cross stitch and I love to customise and personalise gifts for the recipient and coasters seem to be ideal as they are a subtle way to personalise your work place or mark out your territory at home for your favourite glass or mug containing your chosen tipple ;-)
