We're huge tic-tac-toe lovers in my family, we're also huge lovers of convenience. So, when I started making this stool for my boyfriend's daughter, I knew I wanted to combine the convenience of a stool with the fun of a tic-tac-toe board. This project was part of a Monthly Home Depot challenge that I participate in with a group of other bloggers. Each month, one of us picks an item from Home Depot and we all have to make a project with that item. It's so fun! The month that I made this project, our object was wooden dowels. We have endless amounts of fun with this tic-tac-toe board, and Aurora loves to be able to reach the top of her closet now!

Gather Materials
Measure out the lines for the tic-tac-toe board onto the wooden clock round (sold at Michaels). Once you have them measured out, use painters tape to create straight lines and paint the lines white.
Then, paint your rocks--half white with blue polka dots, and half blue with white polka dots.
Paint the edge of your clock round blue--set aside to let it dry.
Measure your dowel, and saw it into three even pieces (or 4 if you want 4 legs).
Paint the bottoms of the legs blue.
Screw the legs into the clock round.
