I don't have an extra $1000 to spend on a pair of Louboutin shoes so I decided to DIY a pair! I have been wanting to spike my shoes for awhile and after having absolutely no luck finding the spikes I wanted in a store I went ahead and ordered them online.

Gather your supplies: I got my 1 inch cone studs from studsandspikes.com Drill bit + Screwdriver High heels Rubbing alcohol (to clean shoes)
First determine what size drill bit you will need. I took one of the cone spikes with me to the hardware store to help me.
Drill a hole, then insert the screw side through from the back.
This is the inside of the shoe, as you can see this option allows me to remove the spikes once the shoes are worn out. Ya! for recycling round two!
ta-daa! Spikey heels for under $10
Be careful, these hurt when you cross your legs!
