There is no built in lighting in our bedroom so we’ve had to rely on lamps for all our light but I’ve been wanting something else for a long time. I finally got around to making something and like the best DIY projects, it required very little supplies and was quick and easy!

Use a ruler (or eyeball) where you want the sconce to go.
Use the screw driver to secure the shelf bracket to the wall. I only used one screw for this and I think it will be enough for it to hold up but use your judgement.
Use a screw driver or gun to attach the bracket to the wall.
Take our your lighting cord and screw on the light bulb.
Wrap the cord around the bracket two times and you have a sconce!
