Description

Create your own DIY serving tray from old wood, in a rustic-but-beautiful style!

Instructions

For this tutorial, I'm re-using some old recycled wood. You can use almost any wood if you want though, new or old.

  2. Small 2018 09 04 165633 img 6491

Cut your wood into three sections for the base and four smaller sections for the sides.

If you want to apply paint, I recommend doing this before affixing the wood together. You can paint all seven sections, or just the four sides - which is what I'm doing for mine.

Apply wood glue between the three pieces of wood that will make the base and clamp together whilst they dry.

Nail the four sides into the base using a hammer and nails.

Drill two holes on two opposite sides of the tray and feed rope through to make two handles.

    Enjoy your new serving tray!
