Description

I am a very cheerful person who is also a big fan of bright colors, so this happy piñata costume just seemed like the perfect fit for someone like me. You can make this costume too!, just follow the bellow instructions.

Instructions

  1. Small 104310 2f2014 09 10 214316 pi c3 b1ata%2b7

Start by stretching out the dress with a piece of cardboard or anything else long and flat you may have available.

  2. Small 104310 2f2014 09 10 214320 pi c3 b1ata%2b8

Cut a long strip of crépe paper and then cut fringe along the entire strip. Use fabric glue to apply the crépe paper on the bottom edge of the dress.

  3. Small 104310 2f2014 09 10 214326 pi c3 b1ata%2b9

Repeat the same process with as many (or few) colors as you like until you cover the entire side of the dress (I used 5 colors).

  4. Small 104310 2f2014 09 10 214352 pi c3 b1ata%2b10

Then flip the dress around (carefully) and repeat the entire process on the other side.

  5. Small 104310 2f2014 09 10 214356 pi c3 b1ata%2b11

Cover the straps of the dress (if any) with smaller strips of crépe paper with fringe.
