I decided this semester I was going to get myself organized for school.. so I needed a calender that I could keep track of everything I need to do. But I don't do boring calenders.
I started with 31 of my personal photos (one for each day of the month) I cut them to 4X4 so they would fit nicely one my board.
Then I cut up card stock paper folded it in half and taped it together to make little pockets just in case I needed something on the calender that I couldn't use a magnet for or just stick to the board. (This step is optional, if you don't want pockets then you don't need them.)
Next, I added strips of magnets to the back of the photos.
and then I printed out labels from a label maker to number each photo. and I also printed out the days of the week (I just put mine on magnets, but you can put yours of photos if you wish) You can also put the months of the year if you want.
Lastly, I made a bunch of magnets out of things like bottle caps, guitar picks, clay and melted down plastic beads (this is also optional, you can just buy whatever magnets you want or whatever you have lying around the house, I just really like the look of the bottle caps and handmade ones... it's more original that way.) And then I stuck it all together on the boards (after I hung the boards on the wall)
