The first jacket is my boys from the 80s. He got it at a vintage store and I fell in love with it. The only problem is the jacket is REALLY big on me. Im talking I look like I am swiming in it. I looked around and couldn't seem to find any cool ones from back in the punk days. I decided to grab one of mine out of my closet and attempt to recreate it! I am so happy with how it came out, I get so many compliments everytime I wear it!

There is no right or wrong way to do this. What I used Studs, plyers, different colored paints, leopard material scraps, paint brush, and scissors
First i studded the collar of the jacket
I started painting all over the jacket, with bands I like and random doodles. Once it has dried flip the jacket over and paint on the back.
After the paint is completely dry, take the plyers and scrap at it. This will make the paint crumble and chip.. to give it an old look.
I cut up some random scraps of leopard and sheer material and glued it on.
Now you have a vintage inspired new punk jacket... and no one can tell the difference! People ask me where I found it all the time!
