If you are looking for a fun accessory to add to your keys or purse, or need a cute, personalized gift to give your friend then be sure to check out this tutorial! These mud cloth inspired keychains are made using plaster and some colored pencils and are fairly simple to make!
Start by mixing together your Plaster of Paris and water (per plaster instructions) in a mixing container. Note: mixing container and mixing spoon may get ruined so I recommend using plastic or something you don't mind ruining.
Pour the plaster mixture into your silicone letter tray. Wipe away any excess plaster around the sides. Stick the end of your keychain into the plaster so that the ring part you attach to your keys is hanging out. You can rest this on the side of the mold while the plaster hardens. Let harden for an hour (or per plaster instructions)
Pop your letter out of the mold once the plaster is fully hardened. Taking your colored pencils, draw a mud cloth inspired design onto the keychain. I suggest googling mud cloth design to get ideas on what to draw, but it's your keychain so feel free to do any design you want!
