I made this bracelet using a few gemstones, scrap leather and craft wire. It turns out quite nice and you can easily create variations by using different colored wire, beads and leather.
I made this bracelet using a few gemstones, scrap leather and craft wire. It turns out quite nice and you can easily create variations by using different colored wire, beads and leather.
Hold the wire from an end without cutting it from the bundle. Thread the gemstones into the craft wire. Beading length shouldn't be more than 4-5 cm. When you're done beading cut the wire and make small loops on both ends to secure the beads.
Prepare leather strip. Wrap the leather strip around your wrist 3 times and then cut the strip. Hold the leather strip from an end.
Create a small loop on the craft wire and hold it along with the leather strip as shown in the picture. Coil the looped wire with the leather strip, I coiled around 1 cm. Similarly create a loop and coil the other end.
Make an 'S' hook using craft wire.
Attach the wired beads, coiled leather and hook together. You can add extra chains if you want to, but I didn't.
Bracelet done!
Simply wrap the bracelet around your wrist and close the bracelet by inserting the hook through the loop on the other end. Enjoy!
