Instructions

    Grab your mermaid stencil and a piece of art paper (thick paper). Prepare the paper to its required size. The paper should be at least a cm larger from all sides than the stencil sheet. Place a newspaper or scrap paper on your work table and then place the paper on it. Place the stencil on the paper carefully.

    I'm using a fun mix of colors for this stencil art. Prepare a small piece of sponge (about 2 cm x 2 cm will do. take a flat color mixing tray and add the colors to it. Do not mix the colors together. Dab the sponge on different colors.

    Once you are satisfied with the color mixture on the sponge dap teh sponge on the stencil art.

    Continue to dab the sponge on the stencil art until the whole pattern is filled with paint. Once the pattern is all filled wait for a minute for the paint to dry.

    After a minute or so, carefully remove the stencil. Looks beautiful doesn't it?

    I'm using sequins to fill the lower body part of the stencil mermaid. I simply applied drops of glue and then placed the sequins on each drop.

    Continue to attach sequins on the lower body part but keep teh tail of teh mermaid intact.

    Add a thin border using around the paper and then frame it. Hang it on a wall!
