This is a quick and simple DIY to spice up your regular outfit and especially pretty for the holidays in red!
Step 1: Measure a strip of leather that is 15 inches long and 1/2 inch in width. Cut it out.
Step 2: Make sure that the piece is cut properly and even.
Step 3: Trim both ends so that they look pointy, just like in the picture above.
Step 4: Put your leather piece on top of your hairband (the ends should be even in length on both sides) and wrap the twist tie around around the hair band and leather piece to secure it.
Step 5: Make a ponytail with your new leather hairband and make sure that the twist tie is on top.
Step 6: Take both ends of your leather band and wrap them in opposite ways under your pony tail, making sure to cover up the twist tie and hair band. Now tie them in a (double) knot and you are done!
